GANGA PREM HOSPICE
The Ganga Prem Hospice Trust was set up in London in June 2008 to help fund raise and find skilled volunteers for the Ganga Prem Hospice.

1) Trust Structure


	Swami Saradananda Member Swami Saradananada is the well known author of a number of books on yoga. She lives and teaches yoga, meditation and pranayama in London where she has lived for the last few years. Having spent many years in the Himalayas she is very interested in helping to found a Cancer Hospice in that area.


	Renu Gulati Member Renu Gulati, originally from London, now spends most of the year at her home in Rishikesh. Renu practised as a lawyer in London and is also an ayurvedic therapist. She is interested to help relieve the symptoms of terminally ill cancer patients through Ayurveda, diet and other holistic therapies.


	Rakesh Luthra Member Rakesh Luthra, founder of the Ganga Ma Care Group, lives and works in London as a business management consultant. He is dedicated to helping the underprivileged sectors of society through medical and educational projects.


	April Pierrot Member April Pierrot, MSTAT, has been a senior tutor in Alexander Technique at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art since 1992. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she trained as a journalist at Carleton University in Ottawa and worked for the BBC World Service News for many years. She qualified as a Five Element Shiatsu therapist with the Irish School of Shiatsu in Dublin in 2001 and as a Yoga Trainer in 2006.


	Adrian Burgess Adrian Burgess is a student of Diane Long's and became involved with the hospice project after spending some time in India with Nani Ma. He has degrees in sociology from the Universities of London and Cambridge and has an interest in sociological and anthropological approaches to understanding health, illness and end of life care.
