  What Is Ganga Prem Hospice?
Ganga Prem Hospice is a spiritually orientated, non-profit hospice for terminally ill cancer patients. The Hospice will be constructed at the foot of the Himalayas on the bank of the river Ganga.

Situated at Gohri Maphi near Rishikesh and Haridwar, the spiritual and holistic centres, the Hospice will provide medical, emotional and spiritual support for individuals and their grieving families.

Hospice Construction during Monsoon
As the monsoon set in at Gohri Maphi, work on the in-patient facility construction faced the seasonal impediment of heavy rain. However, in between storms, work continued and the ground floor is now ready for the shuttering to be put in place, on which the roof will be laid.

July Clinic Slow yet Sees Many Cancer Patients
The first clinic of the Indian monsoon was not so busy yet saw a 48% turnout of cancer and suspected cancer patients. With many key GPH figures unavailable for the July clinic, the volunteers are to be commended in that everything went smoothly, and patients and their families received first class service as usual.
